Surface Grinding

Blanchard grinding, or also referred to as rotary surface grinding, quickly removes material from one side of a part, typically a part too large to be double disc ground. Surface grinding machines can produce perfectly flat and smooth machine-part or cast surface. Dimensional tolerances to plus or minus one thousandth of an inch, and flatness to one thousandth of an inch and parallelism to one thousandth of an inch, are achievable on all our blanchard grinders. Using significantly greater horsepower than other grinding methods, blanchard grinding removes large amounts of stock quickly and efficiently. our precision surface grinders are capable of removing as little as one ten thousadnth or less of material on each pass over a part.
